Ghouls In The Sewer

"No, guys I am serious. There have been six disappearances in the last two weeks. All of them fit the same description: pretty, blonde, and in their late teens." Aaron exclaimed.

Chaz looked at his friend, Jake who was also in the room, "Sounds like my kind of girl." he chuckled.

Aaron looked like he was on the verge of hitting Chaz over the head with his computer. He scrolled through the website then jumped so suddenly that Jake spilled his beer all over himself.

"Dude!"Jake yelled. "My mom is going to smell this and kill me, what the hell?"

Aaron looked at him halfheartedly, "Sorry man, but guess what?" he asked. When no one responded, he continued,"They say that they are being taken by someone,"he paused dramatically, "or something down into the sewer's." Chaz looked interested now.



"The sewer's?" Chaz questioned. "Dude. Let's think of all the attractive blonde's that we know that fit the description."

Jake's face went white, and he gulped, "My sister Valerie. She just moved in down the street with her stepdad." he said, and they all went silent.

Aaron broke the silence,"Is she attractive?" He asked.

Chaz nodded his head, "Yeah man, trust me. She is uberly attractive." he confirmed.

Jake stood up, "Well, there's no way in hell something is going to take or kill my sister." he said, then looked to his right, "Aaron?"

Aaron's eyes broke away from his computer to listen to Jake, "Yes?" he asked.

Chaz and Jake exchanged looks, ,the Chaz stood up as well, "What do we need?" he asked.

Aaron looked confused, "For what?"

Jake was impatient now, "To go down to the sewers!" he said loudly.

Aaron smiled, "Well..."

Because Aaron was such a geek about all things supernatural, he was prepared for anything. He had a shotgun with salt, an iron knife, a gun with silver bullets, a glock 17, a flare gun, a axe,  and a taser.

Chaz looked at Aaron like he was crazy, "What the hell are we going to need a taser for?" he asked.

Jake looked at him solemnly and said, "Well you never know." and Aaron nodded.

"Alright," Aaron said. "When I call your name say here." he demanded.

He cleared his throat, "Chaz" and Chaz mumbled in response, "Jake" there was no response.

"Jake?" Chaz called, "Jake? Ja-" and his words were cut off with his blood curdling scream, "Aaron! Help." Then all went silent.

Aaron's brave face disappeared, and he began to cry, "What the hell am I going to do?" and he buried his face in his hands.

He then felt a presence behind him, "I would start walking right if you want to find your friends." it said.

Aaron looked behind him, "Are you a.... a ghost?" he asked the woman.

"No, I'm just transparent. Of course I am a ghost, now go." she said, and he started to leave, "Oh, and what you will be dealing with is a ghoul. Ghouls are different than me. They will hurt you, disguise themselves, and worst of all, eat your friends once they are done with them." she informed him.

"Thanks." he said and ran to the right.

Aaron had found them. There was a pile of blonde hair and blood on one side of the room, and on the other was still live bodies. Jake was not among them. He rushed over to Chaz and the girl that he guessed was Valerie who were tied up.

He pulled out his knife and began to cut the ropes that were restraining Valerie and Chaz. Once they were untied he pulled out the gallon of water he had in his backpack. He began to splash the two of them with the water, and they began to stir. Once they were fully awake, Valerie began to whimper.

Chaz groaned, "Where's Josh?" he asked. When Aaron didn't respond, Chaz seemed to understand. Jake was dead.

"Valerie?" Aaron asked the trembling girl, "We are Jake's friends. We have come to rescue you." he said and she laughed shakily and started to cry.

He grabbed her hand to help her up. Once she was standing she fell. Aaron picked her up, and began to carry her out of the room with Chaz following behind.

"Let's go." Aaron said, "Follow me!"

He heard a low menacing chuckle, "Not so fast," it said.

Aaron turned and saw what he knew was, in fact, a ghoul.

"Tell me Aaron what you know about me." the ghoul demanded, and I felt Valerie tremble in my arms.

"Well, you're a ghoul." he said and the ghoul nodded, so Aaron continued, "You're a cannibalistic monster who eats humans whether they are dead or alive." Aaron took a breath and sneakily grabbed his axe out of his bag and hid it behind his back, "Also, you're disgusting and I can kill you as easy as one, two, three." he finished.

"Oh yeah?"the ghoul asked, "And how do you plan on doing that?"

Aaron cleared his throat and got ready, "Like this," he said and quickly swung the axe out from behind him, and quickly decapitated the ghoul.

Chaz cheered, "Let's get out of here."

Once they got back to Aaron's house, Valerie and Chaz had showered.

"I just wished Jake had made it." Aaron said. And at that moment the door swung open, and Jake walked in. Valerie screamed and ran up to him and hugged him. Chaz started to cry.

"Aaron, there's a new case." Jake started and Aaron looked confused, "Possession down in New Hampshire." he finished, and Aaron smiled.

"Well let's get on it" Aaron said, and they all did.
